Apply clinical experience and specialist clinical knowledge to plan, implement and evaluate community services.
Provide services to inpatients and in the community.
Work under reduced clinical direction and contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
Utilize preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Provide interventions for clients across the lifespan in multiple settings, including Community Health, NDIS, CHSP, and Acute Care.
Requirements
Must hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work Profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Desirable to participate in the AASW's accredited continuing professional development program.
Demonstrate AHP2 level competencies or have completed a post-graduate 2-year Masters with a related allied health undergraduate degree for appointment at this level.
Satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements are mandatory.
DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) and DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check are required.
National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required.
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
