Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidenced based, recovery-oriented services across the multi-disciplinary Local Health Network (LHN) Mental Health (MH) service appropriate to the needs of the consumer and the local community.
Consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience.
Requirements
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards.
Commitment to providing patient and family-centred care.
Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

ENC $30.43 - $34.25 per hour plus 25% casual leave loading; END $31.59 - $35.58 per hour plus 25% casual leave loading
Responsibilities
Support the Registered Nurse in the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse while retaining responsibility for actions and accountability in providing nursing care within the scope of practice.
Requirements
Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and holds a current practising certificate.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.
Credentialled to administer medication.
Have at least 80 hours of experience in Mental Health.
Must hold an Enrolled Nurse Diploma.
Current National Police Clearance (NPC).
Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.

Provides clinical and case management support to clients of the Prison Mental Health Service.
Liaises with all relevant clinical and non-clinical stakeholders within the correctional environment.
Coordinates a holistic approach to recovery and wellbeing.
May be required to provide prison mental health services to correctional centres on weekends.
