Responsibilities
Increase the representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across all workforce streams and levels of the Hospital and Health Service.
Collect information to identify suitable applicants for current and future employment opportunities in various occupational areas including Operational Services, Food Services, Cleaning, Patient Support, Security, Administration, Nursing, and Allied Health.
Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16 (PDF).
Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
