Responsibilities
Join the Department of Medical Imaging at Mackay Base Hospital as a Radiologist Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist.
Deliver a range of services including General Radiography, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Intervention, Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Theatre II.
Provide remote rural reporting for MHHS rural sites, including CT services at Proserpine and Bowen.
Requirements
Qualifications in Radiology and relevant experience in the field.

Medical degree and relevant specialist qualifications in Urology.

Provide inpatient ward rounds and daily outpatient clinical services including telehealth to regional hospitals.
Work closely with radiation oncology colleagues at private oncology facilities and Townsville University Hospital.
Participate in clinical trials and expand the oncology service.
Requirements

Requirements
Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Anatomical Pathology, and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
Proven ability to work as a team member with effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
