Salary
$41.84 - $44.29 p/hr
Responsibilities
Provide high quality, timely and appropriate levels of security, fire protection and safety services to The Prince Charles Hospital.
Assist clinical staff in the management of problematic persons, security incidents and events, and fire and emergency incidents.
Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff and contractors.
Provide a first response presence to all emergency situations.
Provide close personal protection to staff confronting aggressive and volatile situations.
Prioritise tasks and respond to requests for security and/or emergency assistance.
Prevention, intervention, investigation and recording of crime within the Health Service.
Escort, monitor and restrain patients under the direction and supervision of clinical staff.
Provide traffic, smoking and other controls as outlined in the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011.
Requirements
Experience in security or a related field.
Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding security and safety.
Ability to work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Court Services Queensland registries.
Provide frontline services to court users on a daily basis, over the phone, in person and/or in court.
Unlock and prepare courtrooms for scheduled sittings.
Make proclamations when opening, adjourning, resuming, and closing courts.
Administer oaths and affirmations to jurors, witnesses, and interpreters.
Maintain security, care, and control of jurors.
Hand out exhibits and other documents in court as required.
Test and operate courtroom technology and equipment.
Recognise and action any risks presented relating to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV).
Adhere to established administrative processes, policies and procedures related to court and registry operations.
Support the Registrar in the efficient management of daily operations.
Prepare, process, and manage a range of administrative and financial documents.
Provide technical and administrative support to Magistrates in court.
Cultivate and nurture professional and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Use, update and monitor relevant databases, digital tools, and files.
Provide appropriate information to members of the public and other stakeholders about court and registry services.
Take ownership of developing skills and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current practices.
Collaborate with the team to identify, communicate, review, and progress service improvements.
Requirements
Interest in temporary AO3 Court Services Roles for up to six months (with the possibility of extension).
Ability to provide trauma-aware and compassionate service delivery.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Ability to manage complex court matters and documentation accurately.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Understanding of relevant legislation and departmental policies.
Experience in customer service or frontline roles is preferred.
