Salary
- Salary allowance of between $15,370 and $20,870 per annum in addition to your salary, locality allowances, transportation to and from the location on appointment, and fully subsidised housing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver flexible and innovative educational programs to students in remote areas.
- Ensure access to high quality education and improved outcomes for students.
- Work with remote communities to close the gap in life outcomes for Aboriginal students.
- Engage in ongoing self-reflection and improve practices through collaboration with colleagues and the community.
- Demonstrate respect for and value Aboriginal culture and connection to Country.
Requirements
- Commitment to Aboriginal Education and living in remote locations.
- Culturally responsive and empathetic approach to teaching.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Interest or experience in English as an additional language/dialect (EAL/D) is highly valued.
- Willingness to work in isolated parts of the state.
