Salary
$29.11 - $29.42 per hour + 25% casual loading
Responsibilities
Assist in providing care to residents and patients across Yorke and Northern Local Health Network sites.
Assist with bathing, showering, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming of residents.
Help with toileting and continence management.
Assist with feeding residents and maintain their mobility/dexterity through transferring and lifting, including the use of mechanical aides.
Undertake bed making, cleaning of equipment, aids, utensils in work area, and distribute clean laundry and personal attire.
Provide input into resident assessment and record general observations.
Help to identify diversional therapy needs of individuals and/or groups and complete routine documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements
Must have completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check required.
National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position.
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
