Salary
- $29.11 - $29.42 per hour + 25% casual loading
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing care to residents and patients across Yorke and Northern Local Health Network sites.
- Assist with bathing, showering, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming of residents.
- Help with toileting and continence management.
- Assist with feeding residents and maintain their mobility/dexterity through transferring and lifting, including the use of mechanical aides.
- Undertake bed making, cleaning of equipment, aids, utensils in work area, and distribute clean laundry and personal attire.
- Provide input into resident assessment and record general observations.
- Help to identify diversional therapy needs of individuals and/or groups and complete routine documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must have completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check required.
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position.
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).

- Physically able to handle the responsibilities of the role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and a basic understanding of contemporary care practices and legislation.
