Salary
- $97,259 to $102,779 per annum
Responsibilities
- Attend to members of the community requiring clinical care and treatment via ambulance services.
- Independently or as part of a team, deliver an advanced level of pre-hospital clinical care in accordance with approved clinical guidelines.
- Provide relief at outer-urban and Branch stations as required within established guidelines and working in accordance with the appropriate position description for the position being relieved.
- Complete all relevant documentation with respect to clinical services, training provided and changes to the working environment and equipment.
- Maintain constant contact with the State Communications Centre, in accordance with Ambulance Tasmania (AT) policies and protocols.
Requirements
- Registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
- Holds a Bachelor of Paramedic Science and relevant work experience or other qualification approved by the Service
- Current Driver Licence
- Satisfy a pre-employment check including conviction check, identification check, and disciplinary action in previous employment check.

Notes
- The Intensive Care Paramedic Employment Register is established to provide the Department of Health with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are able to work at short notice.
- This Register will remain open to applicants until 30 June 2025 and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
- Please note that the Register will not preclude other Paramedic positions being advertised if warranted.
