Responsibilities
- Perform a range of cleaning duties under indirect supervision as per specific duty guides.
- Support the Supervisor in providing quality client care working as part of a team or autonomously depending on the task required.
- Undertake all cleaning duties, including light and heavy tasks, in all areas of the PHC and associated facilities to infection control standards.
- Assist in the process of grounds garden maintenance.
- Undertake waste disposal and management practices as required by the waste management guidelines.
Requirements
- Condition of employment to be vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B and pertussis during employment.

Responsibilities
- Perform all cleaning duties as required for the designated area following infection control guidelines and relevant policies and procedures.
- Transport patients within the hospital in accordance with OH&S guideline and following safe manual handling training.
- Assist Nursing staff in patient care (e.g., turns, positioning etc) as required, using the designated equipment, and following the Manufacturer's instructions and Health and Safety procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and hospital information.
- Collect, transport, and store all categories of waste in the correct manner.
