Responsibilities
Coordinate midwifery care in collaboration with registered nurses, student midwives, assistants in midwifery, and a multidisciplinary team.
Deliver care in partnership with women and their families across various areas of maternity, including high-risk antenatal, antenatal clinic, birth suite, and postnatal services.
Rotate across different maternity services to develop and maintain skills across the continuum of care.
Support women's health in the gynaecology unit for midwives with dual registration in midwifery and nursing.
Work flexible 12-hour shifts organized on a 7-day roster for enhanced work-life balance.
Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
Positive, friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
Ability to work as part of a team and a passion for women-centred care.
Ability to respond appropriately to challenging situations and support colleagues and patients.
