Responsibilities
- Join the team at Mackay Base Hospital as a Medical Oncology - Staff Specialist.
- Provide inpatient ward rounds and daily outpatient clinical services including telehealth to regional hospitals.
- Work closely with radiation oncology colleagues at private oncology facilities and Townsville University Hospital.
- Participate in clinical trials and expand the oncology service.
Requirements
- Medical degree and relevant specialist qualifications in oncology.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Experience in medical oncology and patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient and effective Anaesthetic, emergency airway management, ventilation and acute pain service to patients of Armidale Rural Referral Hospital including providing support to a 5 bed HDU.
- Conduct preoperative outpatient consultancy services.
- Opportunity for conjoint appointments with Joint Medical Program, University of New England.

Requirements
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Evidence of being a medical expert, demonstrated by recent and comprehensive experience in Anaesthesia.
- Evidence of being a scholar, maintaining medical professional development and assisting other staff, including trainees in knowledge acquisition and development.
- Evidence of being a skilled communicator, with both oral and written skills, communicating with patients, students, other health professionals and the public.
- Evidence of being a collaborator, with the ability to network and operate within an interdisciplinary framework and work with other stakeholders in various settings.
- Evidence of being a manager, with flexibility to cope with a changing health system, past leadership and management experience, and previous safety and quality improvement activities.
- Evidence of being a professional, including continued professional development, peer review and other forms of clinical governance.
- Evidence of being an advocate, contributing to improving individual and societal health.
