Total remuneration package: $70049.73 - $98351.39; Remuneration: 35.32 - 49.60 per hour
Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver high quality person-centered nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses.
Follow the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD).
Work in a dynamic Emergency Unit handling over 160 presentations daily.
Requirements
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in emergency, critical care or relevant acute hospital setting.
Ability to use problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to identify key messages and concerns.
Knowledge of person-centered care, evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
Understanding of and ability to practice in accordance with legislation, policies and within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
Availability to participate in a 24 hour/seven-day rotating roster including public holidays.
