Responsibilities
Undertake clinical duties in the Emergency Department and/or GP clinics at each hospital, as well as being rostered on call as required.
Work in a multidisciplinary team environment with a combination of procedural and non-procedural District Medical Officers that are ACRRM or RACGP trained, Senior Medical Practitioners, and Nurse Practitioners.
Demonstrate and maintain appropriate Emergency Department skills and evidence of continued professional development.
Requirements
AHPRA registration without limitations and fellowship of (ACRRM) or (RACGP).
Post graduate qualification in Anaesthetics (JCCA) and equivalent extensive experience.
Demonstration and record of appropriate Emergency Department skill maintenance in the last triennium of completion of at least 1 of the following: ACLS (or equivalent), APLS (or equivalent), EMST (or equivalent), GCCA (or equivalent).
Applicants who are in their penultimate year of either RACGP or ACRRM training are encouraged to apply if their examination requirements have been passed and met.
