Responsibilities
- Lead the Health in a Virtual Environment (HIVE) multidisciplinary team to provide specialised services to patients.
- Monitor and interact with specialised remote monitoring applications and processes.
- Maintain the integrity of the associated systems within scope of practice.
- Provide medical support and management as required to the patients enrolled in the service.
- Promote patient safety and quality of care.
- Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training and other health workers.
- Collaborate with the Head/Deputy Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve performance standards and targets.
Requirements
- Eligibility to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
- Undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behaviour in past roles.

Responsibilities
- Promote patient safety and quality of care.
- Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.
- Collaborate with the Medical Co-Director, Service Director, Head of Department, Clinical Leads, and other Consultants to achieve national, state, and EMHS performance standards and targets.
- Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
Requirements
- Suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrists with relevant experience in mental health services.
- Ability to work across various services including General Adult and Inpatient services, Community Mental Health, Emergency Department, and Mental Health Emergency Centre.
