Salary
- WHA3 $29.11 - $29.41 per hour + 25% casual loading; WHA4 $29.70 - $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and respectful care to clients in their homes or residential care settings.
- Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility as required.
- Perform household duties including cleaning, laundry, minor gardening tasks and meal preparation.
- Provide safe and reliable transportation for appointments and outings.
- Engage clients in meaningful social interactions and activities to enhance their well-being.
- Provide personal care and support to clients with complex care needs at the WHA4 level.
Requirements
- Flexible, conscientious, and empathetic with the ability to work autonomously.
- Proven ability to work well within a team environment.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds, and circumstances.
- Experience in dealing with aged, frail, or disabled persons.
- Experience in using computer packages like Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or Home and Community) for WHA4 level.
