MP Year 1-6 $318,268.93 - $552,284 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary, 11.5% superannuation and applicable allowances)
Responsibilities
Provide medical care for rural and remote or isolated communities.
Respond to diverse needs of rural communities, applying population approach, primary care, secondary and emergency care.
Provide culturally engaged healthcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Offer specialized medical care in at least one additional discipline.
Care for critically unwell patients and prepare for transfer to another site for definitive care.
Requirements
Registered with either the Royal Australian College of General Practice (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
Experience in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, Anaesthetics, Surgery and/or General Medicine.
