Requirements
A 4-year tertiary Degree in Psychology or Social Work.
Eligibility for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the Australian Association of Social Workers or Society of Professional Social Workers depending on discipline.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to work outside normal office hours.

Responsibilities
Work with children, young people and families who are vulnerable or in crisis to ensure children are safe and protected from harm.
Provide direct support to Child Protection Workers by collecting, recording and analysing client information.
Provide supervision and support to families, children and young people about accessing Department and community resources.
Contribute to the effective management of the District Offices by providing a high level of customer service in relation to administrative matters.
Be the first point of contact for members of the community accessing the Child Protection and Family Support services.
Undertake homes and community visits to provide culturally appropriate support and assistance to Parents and Carers.
Provide a personal culturally appropriate parenting skill service to assist in the growth and development of families to facilitate child safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant human services area.
All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency.
